What This App Is For

This app is for a research study run by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) to see how digital habits might affect real-life behaviours.

It’s Your Choice

As mentioned in the consent form you have completed, taking part is 100% voluntary. You are in charge and can stop or cancel our access at any time in your TikTok settings.

How We Protect You

Your information goes into LSHTM’s secure server. We remove anything that could identify you (like your username and account ID) before we do our research. This means our research focuses on general patterns, not you as an individual.

What the App Cannot Do

· See your password.

· Post anything to your profile, message your friends, or see your private messages (DMs).

· Change your TikTok settings

Relationship to TikTok

We are separate from TikTok. Using this tool does not change your TikTok account or your relationship with them.
